Make no mistake. Jeebes is an excellent valet, especially considering his diabolical tendencies and all, but just now as I awakened out of a fitful slumber, I espied said evil manservant standing in the doorway of my bedchamber, attempting to capture my very soul and place it in one of these. What a stinker. Fisticuffs ensued and I wrested this phantasmagorical instrument from Jeebes’ pale, clawlike grasp. The things Dr. Ding puts up with simply to have polished silver and pressed linens! If you know of any reliable butlers who can be seen in the front parlor, kindly reply.
